You can send tariq ramadan away, but don’t underestimate his influence. A whole generation of (educated) muslims who want to practice their religion is affected by his thinking. You see them in the media, in politics, I see them around me. Tariq Ramadan will stay in the Netherlands, no matter what, through his thinking ; and let’s face it, that’s what he has to offer.

Yeah, I understand what you mean. A part of the muslimcommunity in the Netherlands really is gaining from his ideas. The Moroccan community is quite active (and most hated muslimcommunity for -among other things- that reason), but it lacks great thinkers. A person like Tariq Ramadan can give direction. Many Moroccans see him as one of them. Quite extraordinary actually...
